Help Im trying to find a DOT helmet for my husband. Only thing is he does not want a big bulky helmet he has a big head LOL but really he wears like a 8 for regular cap and he currently has a helmet its a novelty helmet kinda loke a skull cap that is not DOT certified he wants one similar to the novelty but only DOT certi its a 2xl he wears i bought him one through helmetsetc.com and it is a skid lid shorty except it looks as though hes going to use it to carry water on his head it is so bulky inside his bike is a Harley Davidson and we live in California so its required any suggestions?????

ALL DOT HELMETS ARE GOING TO BE RATHER BULKY AS THEY HAVE TO PROTECT YOUR SKULL. BE CAREFUL NET TO GET THE SMALLER HELMETS WITH A FAKE DOT STICKER.
They have some good helmets here
my best advise to you would be to go to a motorcycle dealership or supply store. Not only will most of them have what you are looking for but they will also fit one on him. At least I know they do up here where I’m from.
Go here….www.jafrum.com…and check out there line of helmets. They are all DOT certified and brag that they carry the least bulky DOT certified helmets made.
